My name is [removed], and I am the ward clerk for unit [removed], [removed] Ward, [removed] Stake.
The bishopric would like to know how to proceed with assigning a young woman to Relief Society rather than Young Women organization. She is now a mother, and according to the General Handbook, she should be officially assigned to Relief Society.
Could you please provide us with instructions on how to make this change in Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR)?

This is a user-to-user discussion forum, not an official help request channel. It's also public, which is why I removed the personal name, unit number, and unit names in order to protect privacy.
For simple questions like this appears to be, your stake clerk staff can be a very good resource. One of the duties of stake clerks is to train the ward clerks. For more difficult questions (or if the stake clerk does not know), the Global Services Department is the ultimate support resource. They can fix things nobody else can.
Unless things are more complicated than they appear, it's very easy to change class/organization assignments in LCR. The tabs and buttons in the description below are English, because that's all I have access to. If you're using another language, you might need to translate the names.
- Bring up the member's membership profile.
- Select the 'Callings/Classes' tab.
- Wait for the class assignments to load.
- Click the pencil icon on the right-hand edge for the assignment that needs to be changed.
- Click on the arrow to pull down the menu.
- Select the desired entry.
- Click the 'Save' button.
If that does not work, and if your stake clerks don't know the answers, you're welcome to give some detail of what LCR is doing when it does not do what you need it to do.

Has the child been recorded on her record? If she's younger than 17, LCR may not allow it until that's done.
