The General Conference broadcasts are listed on that schedule and will probably be one of the first official documents showing the date. It could very well be the case that some of these items have not been calendared yet.
You're right that the broadcast schedule is usually the first place these dates are officially publicized. It's a good idea to find those dates there; in fact, it's such a good idea that this option was already mentioned earlier in this thread ;).

When the 2010 schedule comes out, it will include all of those dates (subject to change, of course -- the 2009 Pioneer Day broadcast was just rescheduled barely a month before the event). But there's no point in asking the stake presidency for the schedule at this point, because the 2010 schedule has not been published yet.

I wouldn't expect that to come out until next month at the earliest.

It's been a few years since I received the satellite broadcast calendar. For what it might be worth, my best recollection is they were usually sent out during August.

The 2009 Satellite Broadcast Schedule was dated 29 August 2008. So it's a bit early to be getting anxious for the 2010 schedule to be posted.

By the way April 4th is Easter as well. Has this happened before?

Easter and General Conference colliding?

Yes, it happens quite often. In the last 30 years, it has happened about 6 or 7 times.

Interesting...

Interesting to note that the General Young Women and General Relief Society meetings will be held the week following General Conference in 2010 rather than the week before Conference.

I am not so sure that is what it means. Note that the General Conference and the respective auxiliary meetings cover the Saturday and Sunday of both weekends.

I wonder if we are about to see a new format for General Conference?

I think you are reading into the schedule more than it says. Compare it with the one published last year and you will find the same relative dates for General Conference. Remember this is a satellite broadcast schedule.

Something of note is that there will be another Worldwide Leadership Training Meeting in 2010 and that it is scheduled for November.
