How/Where to change the several phones numbers listed on Ward info
When searching for a Ward to attend in the new Maps area of lds.org, I'm struggling to find where i can change the phones listed. I assume the info pulls directly from MLS but i can't seem to find where this is saved. The problem is the Bishop's phone is correct, but it still lists an old Ward Clerk's phone as a second number. I'm probably blind and missed it so can someone explain where i find this?
Thanks!!
Thanks!!
Information for the Bishop comes from the profile in CDOL (http://cdol.lds.org) - that is the place to start looking.
Thanks, I didn't even know about that website.
When i signed in i got a message that i don't have the rights to see anything. Strange, considering I was previously the Stake Tech Specialists but am now on the High Council with those same responsibilities. Would the current Ward Clerk for that Ward need to log in and make those changes?

If you have the same responsibilities as a STS, then perhaps you should also be listed as a STS in the stake MLS. That will give you some rights into CDOL.
But even that won't help you edit the entries. I think you'll have to have the bishop edit his own.

The other way to change this information is for a stake clerk to use the Leader and Unit Change Request to update the bishop's contact information.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Since it's the clerks' phone that's wrong, I don't think this is in the CDOL. If it's from MLS, I'd expect it to be under System Options. Otherwise, it's probably coming from a database maintained by the FM group.
Edit: Upon looking, the meetinghouse phone IS in the CDOL. But I don't know who in the ward/stake has edit rights to that information.

This is not a piece of data from MLS. I believe the FM database populates CDOL. The only way to edit this number is to have the PFR contact the FM Group and ask them to make the change. Normally the unit telephone number should correlate to the number they have on the invoice with the telephone service provider.RussellHltn wrote:Since it's the clerks' phone that's wrong, I don't think this is in the CDOL.
