I get the error when trying to access the calendar in December 2011 or beyond. I also get it when trying to run the calendar wizard an import events from the old calendar to the new one (our stake has just started the migration process).

Nov & Dec 2011 Calendar Info Unavailable (view, print, navigate, etc.)

Post by EGLandree »

Any new information on the calendar problems? Navigation (monthly, weekly, etc.) and Print/Download for Nov 2011 and Dec 2011 are the troubled months for me.

The developers are diligently working at tracking it down, but it is an elusive bug (as you can see if you read this whole thread). I'm sure we'll be told when it is found and fixed.
Questions that can benefit the larger community should be asked in a public forum, not a private message.

Dear LDS.org Technical Support,

I am the ward web master as well as Bishop of the Oak Brook Ward (375004), Logan Utah Stake (500828)and we have not been able to get into out Wards on-line calendar at LDS.org. We receive the following error message, "Sorry, data is temporarily not available for this application. Please try again later." and the calendar will not load. I've had several member report this problem as well where we rely on this calendar for all announcements to the ward. Can you please assist in getting our calendar back on-line.

Thank you!

I have read this thread with great interest. We have had this issue for a few weeks. It does not appear to be browser or workstation related. It's broken for everyone. I am in the Morton Ward (77097), Centralia, Washington Stake (511153). Our Stake went live with the new calendar Sept. 1st... worked until a week or two ago.

I am seeing two errors:

Interestingly, if I unsubscribe from "Centralia Washington Stake" calender then everything appears to work. I am still subscribed to all the other stake calendars (YM/YW, Primary, etc) and they populate fine. The week view works for some weeks so it is as if the Stake calendar has holes. I do not have the locations checked, never have.

Is this something the Stake webmaster can fix or is this something bigger?

At this time, it appears to be a problem that the developers need to fix. You can try calling Local Unit Support to insure they are aware of the problems and have your information to help them pinpoint the error.

While there are some church employees here, this is primary a peer-to-peer help forum. So what we can do here is quite limited.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

We are working to fix a bug that was introduced last week. From the symptoms described, it should be the same bug for all who have posted in this thread.

I'll post again when the fix is deployed to have each of you confirm if it is working again for you.

Awesome. And let me just say "Thank You" in advance for when this gets fixed. It will be very appreciated!

Fix for all?

Post by tmilne »

Will the fix be applied to all units, or will we need to raise an incident somewhere for the fix to be applied? In the meantime, I've subscribed to this thread for daily updates...

Lakeville Stake - two calendars affected (Stake Activities and Stake Meetings), different weeks/months for both, some extending through 2013 (so I like the poisoned event theory).

The calendar application has been updated with a bug fix as of 3:30 MDT. Please check and let me know if you are still seeing the issue. Please clear your browser cache before confirming if you still have the problem.

Note that the only issue fixed in this release is the issue discussed in this thread.
