Study Notebook not working properly

I like to highlight my scriptures, then at the end of each session, I go to my study notebook, click on unassigned items and categorize the highlights in to the appropriate notebook category.

Whenever I click on Edit it brings up the notebook category checkboxes for maybe one second that it disappears. If I click again, it will bring up the checkboxes and this time they will stay up.

It is a huge pain because it doesn't even keep the scripture I am working on, it goes back to the first scripture on the list and I have to scroll down to the highlight the one I want.

This happens on my windows 7 notebook, desktop, and macbook, IE 9 and Safari.

Suggestions?
