TEM Support Center in FHC...

#1

Post by cstenbergh »

Hi,

I have a computer in my FHC that has the incorrect software in the TEM Support Center. The software looks like it should belong on PC's at LDS Church Headquarters. How do I reset that list?

Thanks!

I had to force-install one instance of TEM on a PC, did that through remote.familysearch.org. Skip past the TeamViewer page (click the 'FHC Tools' box to the right or lower) and look for the box that says Tivoli. First, try overwriting the file, if that fails to work, see if you can simply uninstall using add-remove in Windows, and repeat the installation from the FamilySearch page.

That may give you the right version of TEM as set up for FHCs.

I tried the force-install but it didn't work. Also, there is nothing in the Programs and Features folder to remove. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If all else fails, you can call FamilySearch and ask for FHC Support.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

I found the Tivoli program in Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs.

While I didn't have to uninstall it for any reason named above, I was checking to see if it was there, as the system tray icon did not show up that was supposed to.
