Unable to view/load web calendar

Hi. I recently purchased a laptop and use Safari browser to access lds.org. I had no issues with the web calendar on my old laptop or on my iMac, but the calendar never loads on my new laptop (see image). I have Flash installed. Do I need any other add-ons or extensions? I didn't see reference to this in the FAQ.

Do you have pop-ups blocked?

I did, but I just un-blocked pop ups and the calendar still won't load. The other 'tools' work fine (directory, maps, etc.). I have no idea what is going on- the computer is new.

if using ie9 make sure you are in compatibility mode
