Attachments interface a bit clunky

When a post has just one attachment, users have to click on the "expand" or "1 Attachments" link to be able to see the attachment. I would guess that a large proportion of the posts that have any attachments will have exactly one, and it feels clunky to have to expand a list just to see the one attachment. If a post just has one attachment, it would be nicer to show it in the attachments bar instead of those useless controls.

Also, it should be "1 Attachment" (not "1 Attachments").
