Video Mixer

I'd like a recommendation on a cost effective video mixer. The application is for stake conferences where we need to switch between a local and remote signal source.

What is actually needed is somewhat more complex. It would be nice to have the mixer in front of the RF distribution system. Because of the physical location of equipment, this means that it would be nice to be able to operate it remotely by something like an iPhoen or iPad.
