LDS Education Apps for Android, Kindle, iOS, RT, etc Devices

My daughter is 6 years old and plays many learning games on her Kindle Fire HD, Android Phone (my phone), and as RT Apps on Win 8 (if we had an iPad I am sure she would be there too).

These game make learning Reading, History, etc. fun and thus she is learning without knowing it (or at least while not feeling like she is "Learning" something).

I was thinking of Primary age children and I have many game/interactive content idea on learning Key Names from the Scripture (and maybe story based lessons from the lives and teachings/gospel principles), Scriptures Stories, General Gospel Principles, Learn the Profits Names and maybe something about them (story based lessons from the lives and teachings/gospel principles), etc. all in a fun interactive way.

I now this sounds like a good "for profit endeavor", however I think it is ideal for the church as a free resource to assist parents, primary teachers, and most important the children and I believe this should deserve serious consideration if it has not already.

Is there any initiatives to develop applications like this? Is there anyone else that has wanted to do something like this/would like to work with me on this if the church approved it as a project?
