[Moderator note: I removed personal detail information, since it is not appropriate to include all that information on a public forum without the permission of the person involved (the former bishop), and those details aren't relevant to the reported issue anyway.]
Ward Events on our ward calendar show the following as the contact info, and e-mail notices come from this person:
Unit: <redacted> Ward
Contact Name: <old bishop>
Phone: <old bishop's phone>
Email: <old bishop's email>
However, he is no longer our Bishop, and he no longer lives in our ward. His membership record is not in our ward. Our ward unit number is <redacted>. In the Administrators list, our current Bishop's name, etc., is correctly shown, and the former bishop's name is not shown.
How do we get this corrected?

The problem is that your former bishop actually created those events, and the Calendar has no way of automatically reassigning the creator. How do we get this corrected?
The one thing you can do is to have a current administrator/editor edit each event and save it. That will change the contact info to whoever most recently edited the event.
