personal notes in gospel study IOS tablet and phone

would it possible to separate my personal notes from the footnotes?
since scriptural ideas can run for many verses it would be more effective to have the personal notes do the same.
On IOS tablet there is a button to turn footnotes on and off. Could that button be footnotes on....personal notes on ....personal noes and footnotes off?
