Availability on the Kindle Fire
When will this app be available for the Kindle Fire, or where can I find the .apk file so that I can sideload it?

It's not currently available for the Kindle Fire, but you can send in-app feedback and request it. I don't think it would be too hard for the developers to get it into the Amazon Appstore, but it would require supporting Fire TV as an equivalent to Chromecast, which would take a little more work.
