there are singles out there who past 30 are single and trying to get married, the church aught to show they care for all by showing more help to them the singles wards aught to be open to all singles above 18 not just 18 to 30.
Those decisions, of course, are made at the highest level of Church leadership by the First Presidency and Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. But those of us who are single and over 30 have not been forgotten. There are provisions for a stake to request the organization of a single adult (over 30) ward or branch if there are enough members to warrant it. And there are quite a number of them in the Church today.cathylhh wrote:singles wards aught to be open to all singles above 18 not just 18 to 30.
In the meantime, the stake is responsible to provide service opportunities and other activities for single adults, and you may wish to visit with a member of your stake presidency who is responsible for this area of the work and let him know of your concerns and desires. Your stake president has the keys and authority to make something happen for members of your stake, including single adults.
