Time Between Temple Recommend Interviews

For a temple recommend renewal, is there a limited amount of time that a member has to have their recommend signed between their Bishop's interview and their Stake President's interview? I can't seem to find a policy outlining that in the Handbook, but a member of the stake presidency thinks there is.

In LCR when you enter a recommend that is 3 months old, it shows a warning "The Issued Date is more than three months prior to today", but it is just a warning and you can still enter it. When I see that I usually double check with the member of the stake presidency that did the interview to make sure they're okay with it.
