New EQP - Can't access Leader and Clerk Resources

New EQP - Can't access Leader and Clerk Resources
I was just set apart as the Elders Quorum President. I watched the clerk enter my new calling into Leader and Clerk Resources (about an hour ago). I see that I am the president in LDS Tools, and in the LDS.org ward directory. However, Access is Denied when I click on on Leader and Clerk Resources. Does it take time for the system to grant access, or does the Clerk need to do something additional to grant me access to the Leader and Clerk Resources?

It can sometimes take up to 24 hours for all the systems to get into sync, before access is granted to those parts of LCR your calling entitles you to.

Sometimes I can get into Leader and Clerk Resource and sometimes not. It's been two days now. It's not my internet service because I can get into other websites. Can you help me?

Try an incognito window to confirm that it is not a cookie/cache issue.

This delay in synchronization has got to stop. The RS president and EQP need access immediately for obvious reasons. The old RS president, having been released, should not be ordering food for needy families in the ward when they no longer have the authority. Is there a way to fix this?

Church leadership would have to prioritize making the fix.
From what I understand, the sync should happen within 12 hours, although in the forum we advise waiting 24 hours before being concerned.
The question I have is why are member waiting until it's a dire emergency? The bishops storehouse near me doesn't even open until 10AM Tuesday. So that's a 48 hour delay before it can even be fulfilled.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

As a follow-on, the Bishop’s Orders: QuickStart Guide states that any ward member can be an authorized preparer. So if a ward has a situation where an upcoming leadership transition could potentially impact food orders, prior to that leadership change the Bishop could simply authorize a ward member in the system (if they don't already have an additional member who is authorized), and then the new leader could work with the authorized preparer while they wait the day or two for the church's databases to fully sync.riddlejeffrey wrote: Sun Dec 07, 2025 7:10 pm This delay in synchronization has got to stop. I'd also note that in the FAQ, although the RSP is a default preparer through her calling, the EQP is not. So if a ward wanted to have a new EQP as a preparer, the Bishop would have to add him manually, since even when LCR grants him full access, that won't extend to the Storehouse. And they could even add him into the system prior to his sustaining, since being an authorized preparer doesn't require any specific calling.

You are replying to a thread that is several years old. I know that at least parts of the process have been changed and are up to date in less that a few minutes. For LCR and other systems some of it may depend on how much they cache that data.
