Membership record number not valid

Post by hindmanrachel »

I can log into my account but I can't enter a MRN. I get an error that says MRN or birth date not valid or an account already exists. I tried to see if another account exists by entering the MRN for lost user name and get the same error number. The MRN I have is from a temple recommend and has the MRN printed by the computer and should be correct.

I'd suggest getting with the clerk to verify the MRN and birth date on your records.

I did check with the clerk. The MRN is correct and the church has the correct birth date. Any Idea what else to try?

You should probably use the Forgot your username link and try to recover your other Church Account using your MRN and birthdate. And if that does not work, contact your ward clerk again and ask him to help you contact the Global Service Center to get the accounts sorted.

If you will follow the instructions in this post you should be able to recover the account attached to your membership record number. Start with the link in that post. If that does not work, contact your ward clerk for more assistance.

Check with your ward clerk to make sure the MRN you're using is correct and your birthdate is recorded correctly.

Odds are, you have an account you've forgotten about that has your MRN on it, preventing you from adding it to any other account. Please follow the directions in this post.
