ON previous versions of the Members Tools/LDS tools apps all members were able to see Ministering assignments. Currently only leadership positions have this functionality. This does not appear to extend to compassionate service leader.
This poses a challenge as the compassionate service leader is responsible to coordinate assistance within the ward but does not have easy access to the information to be able to recruit those with ministering assignments. Does anyone know how to add this functionality or could this be changed at the developer level to ensure this calling has appropriate access?

The developers can only change things such as this under direction of their priesthood leaders. The best way to recommend this change would be for you to provide feedback, or for your bishop and stake president to send the request up through priesthood channels.

I don't think the general membership has ever had the ability to see assignments for everyone. But they should be able to see their own assignments.

I'm not sure what rights the compassionate service leader have, but it can take up to 24 hours after their calling is recorded before they get access.

Looking at LCR access table, it looks like they do have access to LCR. Can they see that there? Can they see their own assignments in Tools? Some people have reported missing Ministering information. Likely, the information wasn't available when they synced due to server load.
