Recording Ward Physical Facility Representative calling

Recording Ward Physical Facility Representative calling

While recording then calling of a member, as Ward Physical Facilities Representative, I noted that this line item is a custom calling rather than a standard calling on the Church's calling list. I also noted that Building Representative is on the standard calling list and I am asking whether the duties of Building Representative are the same as our ward's custom calling of Ward PFR (Physical Facilities Representative).

Can anyone verify if the calling issued to this member should have been Building Representative? The duties of the calling which the Bishopric has issued is to arrange for and manage the membership cleaning assignments for the building, as well as snow removal, as well as chairs take down and classroom trash removal at the end of the day, as the rotation of the ward meeting times occurs each year.

Use the standard calling of Building Rep. PFR is old verbiage and will not get the person the correct authorizations nor will the facilities employees be able to see who the Rep is for your ward and make contact as needed.

Also, they wouldn't have access to FIR to do their job.
