Hello,
I am fairly new at using the Leader and Clerk Resources (LCR) for my calling. I have made adjustments to my ward's ministering list under proposed assignments and then I had those changes published. Now when I look under ministering--current assignments, I can see the changes I have made and so can my presidency. However, when my fellow sisters check their ministering list on LDS tools, they are unable to see the changes and I am unsure why. They had synced their phones and still could not see the changes.
Would anyone please help me understand where I went wrong or if this is an OS problem? The sisters that were having difficulty seeing the changes had iphones, if that helps. I was not able to get an android users input outside of my own, but of course I could see the changes. I spoke with a sister who had previous experience but she unfortunately had no idea either.
Thank you in advance!

Re: Publishing Ministering Companions
This is the first I've heard of this, but I'd give it 24 hours or so. We do know that it can take that long for permissions to kick in after a new calling has been recorded.

This may be the key. If the OP is seeing it in LCR but members don't see it in the Member Tools app, perhaps the OP should check their Member Tools app (if they have a device with it installed) so see if they can duplicate what their members are reporting.russellhltn wrote:The various computers may need to talk before it appears in a Member Tools sync.

I posted the changes on Friday afternoon, however they have yet to be visible to my sisters on Sunday afternoon.
I am not sure what OP means however I am able to view the changes on my LDS tools app under the directory--ministering tab.

Re: Publishing Ministering Companions
There is a common problem with Member Tools dropping ministering information after syncing on Sundays when the servers are overloaded. There was also a period of time on Saturday for the servers. Waiting later in the week to sync generally returns the ministering data.PVillyena wrote:I posted the changes on Friday afternoon, however they have yet to be visible to my sisters on Sunday afternoon.
OP means original poster. An OP is the individual who starts a thread. For this thread you are the OP.PVillyena wrote:I am not sure what OP means . . .
Since you are able to see the ministering assignments in Member Tools then others should be able to see their ministers and ministering assignments provided they have not run into the server issue I mentioned above. Ask the sisters who do not have the new ministering data to sync again now and see what happens.PVillyena wrote:. . . however I am able to view the changes on my LDS tools app under the directory--ministering tab.
