Hi Everyone,
I was recently called as a Ward Clerk, our ward has been without one for nearly 6 months.
I have a question regarding on what type of paper we should order to print certificates on from the LCR? Which stock is the best? Any links to order such paper would be appreciated!

Re: Ordinance Certificate Print Outs - Which Paper?
We use "certificate" paper. It is slightly heavier than standard paper but not card stock which can jam the printer. You can purchase in different colors and quantities based on your preference in any local office or printer supply store. Ours looks like cream-colored parchment, though is heavier than parchment paper. We did notice on our prior printer the laser image would rub off if we did not orient the paper the right side up, but that doesn't seem to be a problem with our current Xerox printer.
Ours is similar to this: https://www.staples.com/Great-Papers-Fa ... uct_231931

I think we use that same paper linked to at staples.
As an aside, since it wasn't obvious to me as a clerk when I started, the church has a contract with Staples with discounted prices (assuming you're in the USA, I guess). The login info can be found when you, as a ward clerk, go to https://store.churchofjesuschrist.org , log in, and click the menu "Units and Callings" and then the menu "View All Units and Callings". Scroll to the bottom and you'll see the login info for Staples.

That is an audit exception. I wonder how the stake handled that.david85224 wrote:I was recently called as a Ward Clerk, our ward has been without one for nearly 6 months.

We had 2 assistant clerks during that time (Financial and Membership), so hopefully not much to handle.drepouille wrote:That is an audit exception. I wonder how the stake handled that.david85224 wrote:I was recently called as a Ward Clerk, our ward has been without one for nearly 6 months.
Thanks for the links everyone!
