Hello,
Are any training resources available for administers of the Living App (I'm the Ward Clerk)? I'm doing my best to poke around and learn, but I really wish I could find documentation outlining security, admin tools, best practice, etc.

At this point there is no documentation at all.
From what's been reported, admins have no added options. At least not at this time. I suspect they're there to keep in eye on what's happening even if they may not belong to the group.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

I believe the admin has the ability to remove posts
