ACH transfer for Fast Offerings housing expense

I am wanting to quickly/reliably provide rent for an individual in my ward who's landlord lives in a totally different city. Is there a way that I can direct them to set up account details like members do so that I can use an electronic transfer for the rent for last month? Otherwise I have to print a check and send it in the mail. I actually already did this a week or so ago, but they have not received it yet... Mostly, I am wondering if there is a more reliable way to get them the money. Thanks!

At the moment, ACH transfers only work for reimbursing members. Sorry.

That feature is not yet available. When the online expense payment system was first rolled out there was a page that showed up for a few days that indicated they had intended to implement that feature for nonmember payees. But that page disappeared and has not returned - yet.

At this point, it's going to have to be check via the mail.

Hopefully the landlord will actually deposit the check and not try to change it into a ACH transaction - that won't work.
