Gospel Living App - Profile is blank
we installed the app on my son's android phone. He skipped over the filling out his profile. Now everything is blank and he is unable to update his profile or see his circles. I thought it would synch to his lds account but it does not. I have uninstalled and reinstalled it and it is still broken

Make sure his Church Account has his membership number. I'd try a force stop, clear cache, clear storage and start it up again. That should make it like a new install.
That said, I don't remember filling out anything except preferences. Everything in the profile came from my Church Account.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

This sounds like the app is being set up for nonmembers to be able to use and join circles. Without any inside information or personal experience I would suspect that on first install the user would be prompted for their Church Account credentials. If non are entered then the app would prompt the user to set up a profile.
I would try russellhltn's recommendation to clear all data related to the app. Depending on the operating system and version the procedure to get all app data off the device may be different. If russellhltn's recommendation does not work then uninstall the app, reboot the device, and then reinstall. The reboot my help to clear all orphaned data on the device.
