Free Conference Call . com works! no time limit

I'm using FreeConferenceCall.com and it's much like Zoom except you don't have a time limit restriction at all. Same invite code to join and 100 interactions can participate all for free. You can also record your session so people who can't join the meeting live and can view it later. you can use on many platforms including computer, cellphones, and landline. All for free.

I'm curious, has anyone else tried FreeConferenceCall.com?

yep. As a matter of fact, been using it for broadcasting our Sacrament service and it works great! I use a cell phone for the camera and a Laptop to "Host" the meeting and lock the viewing screen as my cell phone (unless a speaker wants to give a talk or bear a testimony virtually), share my screen for hymns and a screenshot saying "Broadcast will begin after the administration of the Sacrament to the assembly". I also go 1 more step and hook up my laptop a large TV (you could use a projector) via HDMI and show the hymns to the assembly and to all viewing virtually. It works great as long as you don't use both the cell phone and laptop each running freeconferencecall.com on apps on WIFI. I use DATA on my cellphone or you can hook the laptop up with a ethernet cord and then cell phone on WIFI, otherwise you overload the WIFI.

I'm using it for Ward Mission Council Meetings. I was looking for a free option with dial in numbers because the Elders had problems with call video call quality. I really like that you can customize a page for information about the meeting. The Elders can't access the app/website though and I have previously had participants tell me that the dial in number wasn't covered by their calling plans.

FYI wards were just given Church-paid Zoom accounts with lots of horsepower and no time limits. That may affect your decision making now.

Our ward has been using a paid zoom account for a few months, but it can only host one meeting at a time. Could get advanced with breakout rooms to do more in it at once, but I'm not sure we have enough tech savvy leadership to do that.
