Member Tools fails

Our ward was split about a month ago. Since then, Member Tools will not synch to my iphone 7 running iOS 13.7. Every time I try to synch, I get an error message that "ChurchofJesusChrist.org is down for maintenance." I waited a few days in between each try. I still get the same message. I've repeated several more times. Finally, I gave up and deleted the app - including all supporting files, and tried to reinstall the app. After re-downloading the app, I still get the same message that "ChurchofJesusChrist.org is down for maintenance" before I ever login. Any ideas on how I can get Member Tools installed and synched?

I think some of the web services were turned off over conference weekend. The Member Tools services might have been among them. I would expect things to be back to normal today (that said, the Member Tools service isn't historically the most reliable).

It sounds like there may be something in your data that is causing this. Do other members of your ward have the same issue?

Were you called to a leadership position (Ward council level) after the split?
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
