Music Video using Church Webcast system

#1

Post by mmacconnell »

Is it possible to use the Church Webcast system and include a video recording of the Tabernacle Choir for music? We are planning our Stake Conference, but with the requirements for California regarding the COVID-19 restrictions, we can sing. So we would like to use the Webcast to broadcast to our Stake, but have a music video of the Choir for the songs.

You shouldn't have a problem webcasting your choir's recording, but the Tabernacle choir is copyright protected. We have tested this out and the Church server turns the screen blue and stops the sound on a saved mp.4 or mp.3 music file until we stop playing it.
