Any Plans to Support Rich Text and/or HTML?
Are there any plans to support rich text and/or HTML? Currently there's only plain text support, but I think it'd be great to add rich text support like the "Send a Message" application that lcr supports. Support for HTML in a X-ALT-DESC header for calendar sync (like to google calendar), would be great. It's not a small ask, I know, but I'm curious if it's on the roadmap.

I'm not connected with the processes, but from reviewing many posts in the forum, it is stated in multiple places that the church almost never gives indications of features on the roadmap. We all find out when everyone else does.
Other threads indicate the Send A Message tool was never designed to support extensive email formatting. Whether changes are being planned in this environment where we are doing more non-contact communicating is anyone's guess.
Your best method to get feature requests to those with authority to set the programmer's priorities is to provide feedback from the Send A Message page (link at the bottom). Another method would be to convince your Stake President to bring it up in the coordinating council he participates in.
