We saw a huge increase (double) in the number of viewing player connections this past weekend. The system did scale as expected, but additional resources do take a few minutes to come online, so some viewers experienced delayed access to their broadcast and/or received a timeout message. We will forecast for the increased volume this coming weekend to avoid a repeat of the issues experienced yesterday.
Please DM me if there were other issues experienced that we should be aware of.

In the MHW dashboard, I witnessed a few of the Media Server icons flashing red, but it didn't appear to affect the webcast going on. Is this perhaps related?

It was related. The media server heartbeats were also impacted so they showed on the portal as having an issue but were fine.
