Printing Reimbursement Checks Without Signature Card

Hello Group--

I'm a new ward clerk and haven't signed a signature card yet. I tried to print a reimbursement check today, and the Church website threw a generic error. Am I able to print checks and just not sign them until after the bank has my signature card on file, or was the site stopping me without the card filed?

The reason I ask is because the Church website (or our unit's connection) seemed unstable and a bit "gitchy" today, and I'm wondering if that was related to not being able to print checks or is that a policy since again, the bank doesn't have my signed signature card?

There are multiple reports of problems with printing checks right now so it is very unlikely to have anything to do with your signature card.

However, I would recommend printing, signing and uploading the signature cared as soon as possible. But it shouldn't affect your ability to print checks or enter EFT reimbursements.
