Unable to create new Zoom account

New Stake Technology Specialist here. In trying to create a Zoom account for one of the wards in my stake, I'm given this error:

Sorry, at this time Zoom will not allow the Church to transfer the email address provided (<foo_ward>@gmail.com). Please activate with a different email address.

My question is, why? Could I get more info about this error?

There shouldn't be an existing Zoom account under this email (though that could easily be the case).

The problem may be related to how they are logging onto the Zoom account. Avoid using any "Single Signon" (Google, Facebook, or SSO). You need to log in using a email and Zoom password.
