Donation History over 10 years

I need to a list of tithing donations going back to 1995. Is it possible online or any other way? MLP

Online donations only go back 10 years. I doubt that the church finance department can go any farther back than that since there is no requirement to do so from any taxing authority. It wouldn't hurt to contact them to ask. You can get the global service department (GSD) help number from your ward clerk.

Not exactly true. The IRS has no time limit if you never file a return or if it can prove civil or criminal fraud.

I don't think any taxing authority puts that burden on the church.

Holding on to information beyond legal requirements is not only an expense, but a legal liability if security is ever compromised.

It wouldn't hurt to ask, but I'm not hopeful.

But they do on the member.

If the member has a legitimate need (i.e., U.S. IRS audit would probably suffice), he should ask his clerk for the Global Services Department contact information. I do not know the current process, but there used to be a form called Contribution Information Request. He will need to know his ward and stake for each year. He will not receive details, but probably will be able to obtain his total tithing and total contributions for each year. And that will do for an audit.

At the end of each year, we visit with the bishop, and he sends a report to the Church in January. Those reports are kept.
