Note that bishops change every few years, so it's unlikely that the bishop who's currently there is the same one who was there 30 years ago. But, the new bishop might know the old bishop if you remember his name.

You can use maps.churchofjesuschrist.org to look up the current bishop(s) in that building. They'd have access to CDOL and that would have some history of bishops, but I'm not sure as it extends back that far.
