How do I find the original art that is used in conference?

Post by orchardl »

I hope this is the right place to ask this, but I would love to find a higher quality image of the art used in Elder Rasband's talk for October 2020 General Conference. I love the Nauvoo Temple and its history, and I'd love to have a higher quality print of the Nauvoo Temple Painting that he showed in his talk. Unfortunately, the image that is in the body of his talk is just 512x794 (this would look kinda blurry if I tried to get a larger print of it). I would like to find who the original artist was (maybe last name Barrett based off the image name) and where Elder Rasband pulled the original image so that I can do the same with a higher quality image if possible.

Thanks in advance:)

Have you tried using a reverse image search? Such as images.google.com or tineye.com. You can use the image you have to see if it's posted somewhere else.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

So we can better help you, please edit your Profile to include your general location.

It looks like the image is from "Doctrine and Covenants Stories" – but with more people added, and the weather vane adjusted:
