Hello--
Our Primary president has asked for a report of all the incoming Primary age children (18 months old).
I tried creating a new report of all members with birthdate after 1-Oct-2019 AND before 30-Nov-2019--
but that didn't return any results. It might be that we just don't have any kids that age this time around.
I'd like to be able to create a report that we save and just run for her every month without having to start from scratch. Does anyone have any ideas on the best way to approach this?
Many thanks,
-Stephen

Re: Incoming Primary Age Children Report Help Needed
In the report you created you may have children that meet the age requirement but they may not be children of record. Therefore the report will not display them since there is no record for them.
To get a somewhat accurate report would require as many children as possible as children of record. Then when you create a custom report for children under 2 years of age and sort the list by birth date you can see which children are approaching 18 months of age at a glance.

Yes, that's a good idea. Children less than 2 and then sort.jdlessley wrote:In the report you created you may have children that meet the age requirement but they may not be children of record. Therefore the report will not display them since there is not record for them.

Re: Incoming Primary Age Children Report Help Needed
The "child of record" issue is significant. Frequent causes for not having them are convert families, and the blessing done away from the home ward.
The Primary is usually the first to discover this when a child appears in class who isn't on their list.
