It was brought to my attention that there are names not showing up on the digital attendance roles for many of the classes from Primary to Elders Quorum. This is what I have done:
1) Made a hard copy print. All the names of members associated with the class are on the hard copy. When the secretary or I went in to make a digital record of attendance, some of the names that were on the hard copy did not appear in the Class or Quorum Attendance Report.
2) I went into a person's individual class assignment to see if there were any discrepancies. The members that showed up digitally were assigned to the class on their individual profile with the ability to make changes. The members who did not show up digitally, there was no class listed or any option to add to a class.
I have done this on my app, phone, home computer, and church computer and there appears to be a consistent problem with members not showing up digitally and no way to record attendance, though they are on the hard copy.

We just had this question come up in our stake bishopric training. This appears to be an issue where members of a unit have marked their information
"private". I believe that the unit clerk can still see this information and may be able to input however, we're still checking on that.

Is there a resolution to this problem. Some of our primary kids (Sunbeams) are not showing up on the roll in LDS Tools App. Their names print out on a hard copy but they do not show up on the roll when the secretary tries to enter attendance in the Tools app on her phone. What is the solution? Does anyone know why this is happening? Is there anything I can do as a ward clerk to fix this problem. We have all refreshed the app with the latest changes and their names still don't appear.

Since you're a ward clerk, check the privacy settings to make sure those children aren't set for "leadership only".

I’ve checked the privacy settings and they are all normal (same as all the other members of her family)—visible to Stake members. She has a MR# but when you click on “callings and classes” it shows “no data”, and there isn’t an option to assign her to a class.

You might try logging out and back into Member Tools. Sync sometimes doesn't update correctly.

And if sync doesn't work then try Refresh Data. This feature is found in the Settings menu. Is it only in Member Tools where it's a problem or are they missing in LCR too? If it's not showing in LCR one option is to go to the class they are supposed to be in and add them from there.
