Verse of the Day widget does not update

Android version: 10
Android model: Galaxy S9

I have added the "Verse of the Day" widget to my home screen. The displayed verse does not change unless I remove it and add it again.

My wife has an iPhone and had the same issue but only once- after replacing the widget a single time it updated every day since. My own phone has yet to have the widget update on it's own.

Have you sent feedback using the in-app Send Feedback menu item?
Posting here will not get the issue to those who manage the issues for the app. We can discuss it, but that is all we, as a user-to-user help and support forum, can do.
