Tools App Calendar Issues
In the last 48 hours the tools app no longer is accurately populating from LCR calendar events and I am unable to use the function to add the calendar event to my personal calendar as has been available prior to the last 48 hours. Any one else see this or have a plausible explanation?

I just tried the sync URL and it seems to work.
Looking at my Google Calendar, I see the events on the Google website, but not on my phone. It turned out I lost the setting to sync that external calendar when I transferred to a new phone a few days ago.
So, outside of a self-inflicted problem caused by a new phone, I'm not seeing any problems.

Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
