Inabiltiy to update "Home Phone" in Member tools in IOS or from Web
Been trying to update my Home phone as we no longer have one and want to change it to my cell so folks will quit calling into schedule apt with the Stake President. I am the Executive Secretary. I am unable to update this phone number or delete this entry from the Member tools app on my iPhone or from the Web app or Leaders and Clerk Resources. When I try to edit it I am able but when I save it revets back to the old phone number. The same thing happens if I try to delete it.

Suggest asking your ward clerk if he can change it for you. If the member app has a problem he should be able to use LCR to make the change. I don't know if a stake executive secretary can change phone numbers in LCR, even their own, or not.jcutright wrote: Sat Jan 08, 2022 9:45 am Been trying to update my Home phone as we no longer have one and want to change it to my cell so folks will quit calling into schedule apt with the Stake President. Re: Inabiltiy to update "Home Phone" in Member tools in IOS or from Web
I'm on the Android version of member tools and I can change both my phone number and email address (personal and household) by tapping the pencil icon. We converted our home number to a cell phone so I have not tried to delete our household number. I would expect iOS to operate similarly. Anything else has to be changed by the clerk. But as garystroble recommended, your ward clerk or assistant clerk-membership should able to fix it for you in just a couple of minutes. When I served as clerk, I didn't consider it a bother at all to take care of these details for any member.
