Closure of Mormon Handicraft Store???

#1

Post by dlandvatter »

Does anyone know about the CLOSING of the handicraft store, Mormon Handicraft? It is located, obscurely, in the SLC Deseret Book store. It has been an amazing go-to store for me for LDS themed fabrics and patterns for years. The staff is friendly and have a spirit of camaraderie they share with store patrons. The tradition of the pioneer heritage of quilting lives at this Mormon Handicraft store. Is it a rumor? is it really closing??

Mormon Handicraft was created by the Relief Society organization in 1937, but as of 1986, it's owned by Deseret Book. Your best bet would be contact Deseret Book directly:
