Hello,
My childs account is not allowing him to log in because 2-factor auth was turned on and he replaced his phone so he no longer has the google auth code.
Is there a way to turn off my child's 2-factor authentication setting so that we can get him logged back in?

You may have to work with your clerk to call the Global Services Department.
In case it's helpful in the future, it's possible to export codes from Google Authenticator on one device, then import them on another device. This is really handy if you switch to a different phone (but it's an extra thing to remember).

Re: Child account issue with Google Authenticator
As of today, parents can now disable Two-Step Verification for any of their children's accounts that have it enabled. If an account has it enabled, you should now see an additional button "Disable Two-Step Verification" on the "Children Accounts" page when signed in as their parent.
Once Two-Step is disabled, the child should be able to sign in and add/remove any factors and opt back into Two-Step Verification.
