Monthly financial statements
When the monthly financial statement is received, both the Bishop and the assistant ward clerk, finance reviews the statement and sign off on it electronically. We are getting ready for our annual audit. Is there any precedent for having a hard copy of the monthly statement signed and ready for the auditor to review?

Re: Monthly financial statements
We have just had our audit. The auditor has direct access to the financial statements. So no there is no need to have a hard copy signed for the auditor to review.

Re: Monthly financial statements
In fact, if you've reviewed the statements online the audit system will automatically mark that question (pass if all reviews were completed within 45 days of the end of the month and prior to the audit--fail otherwise) and the auditor is not able to change the answer to that question.
