Deceased Member Tax Statements

Post by mrosen »

The wife of a deceased member needs to get his 2021 tax statement since the donations were logged under him. Where can I find the statement?

If the deceased member had checked the box to allow his spouse to see his donations, the wife should be able to print the statements from her account.

There has been some discussion on the topic in related areas of the forum. I _think_ I recall someone saying a clerk can print the statements, but it might be necessary to use MLS rather than LCR. Worst case, the Global Services Department should be able to help.

In many cases, it can be advantageous to get the surviving spouse to print the statements _before_ the other spouse's death is recorded.
