research ordinances
How can I help a member find out who performed their baptism and confirmation years ago? They really want to know, but have no certificate. Thanks,

When was the baptism? The church has changed how it records that information over the years. Depending on what era we're talking about, It may not have that information in their system.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.

If it is recorded the ward clerk can see it in LCR (and maybe tools)

The person(s) performing my baptism back in 2001 wasn’t retained on my record. It was only when I became a clerk, that I added that information. Most members aren’t aware that for a period of time that information wasn’t retained on their record.

From about when mag-stripe readers were removed from the temple until LCR could print certificates. And even then only if LCR was used to print the certificate.
