Proposed Ministering Assignments "Show Changes"

An issue has arisen with the Proposed Assignments tool for ministering assignments in LCR. The Show Changes used to be a great way to see, well, the proposed changes. Now, it just shows all the assignments as being deleted and then all of the proposed assignments (including the unchanged ones) as being added. This happens for both RS and EQ and publishing all assignments and starting over does not fix the problem. Any advice? Thanks.

I am not currently encountering this issue, but when I've encountered something similar in the past, I have reloaded the Current Assignments to the Proposed Assignments by clicking the Start Over button on the Proposed page. This will, of course, remove any changes you have added to the Proposed list, so you will need to add them again. Hopefully that helps you.

If it does continue, you may need to leave Feedback on the page, or contact the Local Unit team at the GSD.

Is there a video tutorial or a tutorial of any kind? That explains how the proposed ministering assignments page is supposed to work? It seems crazy we’re all scrambling around, trying to figure out how it works without a tutorial?

I'm not aware of anything in the Help topics specific to the proposed assignments. I just recently used it, although it seemed fairly straightforward to me, I'm well aware that there's plenty of things in life that other people feel are simple, that I just can't quite follow. So I understand where you're coming from!

Without any official help docs, a few ideas would be to
1) Ask the previous EQ leaders if they used this, and if so have them walk you through it
2) Ask the current RS leaders if they use this, and if so have them walk you through it
3) Ask your ward clerk if he knows how to use this, and if so have him train you
