Several circles had a bunch of members added in error

We just had several of our circles have all the members in the ward automatically added to them but we don't know why. For example, everyone including sisters and youth is now part of our Elders Quorum circle, and likewise everyone is also now part of the youth Sunday School class circles. We can't figure out why this happened. Is there a way to fix this outside of having the administrators of each circle manually go in and remove from the circles?

You might try logging out and back in to see if it resets it for you.

We had a similar issue this week. Currently our Teacher's Quorum circle contains all youth from our Sunday School 16 class (boys and girls). There was no manual change done, it just changed the members of the circle on its own. This was reported by many members. Logging out and back in did not resolve the issue for any of them. There are other impacted circles, but I have not taken the time to check them all. I suspect it will get fixed on its own in a few days, but it is frustrating for those trying to communicate with the official tools.

This same thing is happening to our circles. We have the priest added to our YW circle. Nothing is helping. We can’t fix it. HELP!

This was happening in our ward's circles as well. Youth were added to adult circles RS & EQ, and no adults expect the admins were in those circles.

Then a couple hours later it all fixed itself without us doing anything.

These kind of glitches make it difficult to trust that circles will accurately work and give members the proper notifications when messages are posted to them.

I had the same problem. My priests circled had the young women in it and no priests. I updated the living app and now all is fixed. Give that a try.
