Youth Sunday school rolls not updating

Hello, Are youth sunday school rolls supposed to automatically update with the new year? On LCR it still shows last years assignments. If it needs to be done manually, how do I do it on LCR?

They automatically update if the ward/branch has not adjusted them manually. For example, if classes were combined for some reason, the automatic update is turned off (for those only as I understand). You can reset them so they automatically update again (sorry, I no longer have access to look it up in LCR to give you step-by-step instructions).

Be advised that resetting them resets the entire ward - if you have other classes that you want to remain modified, print them before you reset so you can see how to modify them back again afterwards.

Combining classes shouldn't prevent the automatic class advancement (other than if they are advancing from one age in the class to another age still in the class).
If you have someone in a class that doesn't match their default class type then they won't auto advance from that class.
