need to change phone number

Church Account is the primary user account (user name and password) for accessing online Church resources. Church Account was formerly known as LDS Account. How do I change my phone number on my church account==when I login in it wants to send it to my old phone number for verification--I could update the number on tools but not on my church login.

That would be at account.churchofjesuschrist.org.
Have you searched the Help Center? Try doing a Google search and adding "site:churchofjesuschrist.org/help" to the search criteria.
