Embed photos in Send a Message

I would like to embed photos in my weekly newsletter rather than attaching them at the end. I have sent a note to feedback asking if this was possible in a future update, but haven’t heard from them. Does anyone know if this is possible with the right coding in Send a Message?

I did a little testing and was able to attach an image between two paragraphs by copying the image (on a Mac, opening the image in Preview and using Edit > Copy, or Command+C), then pasting it into the message where I wanted it.

However, when I sent the message to myself, the image didn't come through to my email (the rest of the message came through, but no image).
