I can't add Membership Record Number

Hello support,
I created a church account for an existing member of the church who is a youth age 15 but the account registered as non-member account and I am not able to add the MRIN successfully. Below is the error message received:

"The membership record number "MRIN" supplied is not listed as member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints......" check the attachment for full details of the screenshot.

Please how can I solve this?

The message is saying the record number entered is not a true membership record number (MRN) but rather a linking record number of a child of record. The record number is for a child of record that does not have a MRN because a true membership record has not been created. Make sure you entered in the correct MRN by using the MRN from the Individual Ordinance Summary (IOS) available from the ward clerk. It is most likely that the youth is a child of record and has not been baptized or that the baptism has not been recorded and that will be shown on the IOS by the absence of a baptism date and/or a confirmation date.
